Harbour Ridge Celebrates Families in a Big Way!

PALM CITY, FLORIDA, 2015. -

Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club recently celebrated their 12th Annual Grandchildren’s Weekend from April 2 to April 4.

Michael Salerno, Harbour Ridge General Manager, says, “Grandchildren’s Weekend is an amazing few days for our members and their children and grandchildren. It’s an opportunity for families to spend quality time together creating memories that will last a lifetime.”

Grandchildren’s Weekend is filled with events and programs aimed at all age groups. Among the activities were a spring-training game bus trip, family bingo, a scavenger hunt spanning the entire 885-acre property, family fitness games, a visit from McCarthy’s Wildlife Center, tennis and golf clinics, and a family fun night featuring a DJ, dancing, magician, face painting, photo booth, food and more! The weekend closed with a family carnival covering the entire 1st hole of the famed Joe Lee golf course - The Golden Marsh. Activities included food, games & prizes, fair rides, a zip line, DJ and so much more. The family carnival finished off with a fireworks show designed to coordinate with songs selected by Harbour Ridge staff. While the club’s calendar is packed with events and activities, the 4-day Grandchildren’s weekend is one that members and their families anxiously anticipate all year long!

As the planning process begins for next season’s calendar, you can guarantee that the 2016 Grandchildren’s Weekend will be back -- bigger and better than ever!

2015 Marathon Golf

Are you ready for Marathon Golf Day?

Our Harbour Ridge team will brave the greens taking on the 2015 Marathon GOlf Day challenge. There mission is to play as many holes as they can in one day here on our championship golf courses. The team will be facing the Loxahatchee Club Team. These dueling golfers are facing off for the most funds raised. Donations from the even will be given to children in crucial need of our help. 

We're looking for everyone to pledge an amount per hole played by our team. You can also pledge a set amount regardless of the number of holes played by the team. Please support our Harbour Ridge employees in the marathon on Wednesday, May 27, 2015!

Tom, Robert, Kyle and Sean will play as many holes as they can. Donate $100 or more before May 22 to be entered to win a weekend golf get-away at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo!
