Joe Lee's Golden Marsh Course

In 1984 Palm City was gifted with a 35-acre magnificently planned golf course called "The Golden Marsh". The architect responsible for such gift was Joe Lee, a southern gentleman who designed player-friendly golf courses around the world.

Lee designed and renovated over 250 courses. The Golden Marsh, like most of Joe's designs, provides good results for honestly good shoots. And rewards exceptional players with challenging demands. His courses are as much artistry as architecture. with graceful landscapes which soothe the anguish of even the most frustrated player, the Golden Marsh, is available for players year-round.

Over 400 yards in length, it is necessary to hit a good tee shot to the left of center in order to have a clear approach to the elevated, 2-tier green which is jealously guarded by the lake on the right, trees on the left and multiple bunkers on both sides.

Golden Marsh has tropical charm, with swaying palms and grand sweeping vistas at every turn. It’s slightly less challenging compared to River Ridge, but still provides a true test for golfers at all handicap levels. In 2015 Golden Marsh golf course was re-grassed with Celebration Bermuda turf, drainage improvements and playability changes made to both the greens and fairways
